ONE of the biggest music festivals in the Worcestershire region is expanding this summer to
celebrate its 30th birthday.
For the first time, organisers of Upton-upon-Severn's International Jazz Festival
have put on music over four, rather than three days, hosting 60 gigs across 10
venues.
Word is a glittering Mardi Gras-style carnival has been planned for the
parade through the town which will have a 1940's theme.
This year the parade through the town will coincide with VE Day
celebrations.
Below are my pictures from the first full day of this year's festival,
however I didn't make it into town till early evening due to child care responsibilities,
so not "total coverage" as H.S.T would have called it.
